New Teachers New Standards PD
Curriculum and Instruction is providing all new 6th-12th grade, departmentalized science teachers professional development on the New Mexico STEM Ready! Science Standards. If you have teachers who were unable to attend the 5 day series of professional development last year that was provided, are highly encouraged to attend this one day professional development session. This session will be the only district wide science professional development for secondary teachers this school year, in which to provide teachers with support on the new complex science standards. Teacher support will continue at the school site level. Please don’t hesitate to reach out for this support. Please have those teachers put the date in the sub system ASAP and register on Open Access PD Catalog.
