Full course description

For SFPS All K-5 Teachers and All Math Teachers Grades 6-12. Four days of incredible math teaching and learning professional development.
  • 8:30-4:00 PM. Location TBD. 
  • Register here and you will be contacted to select break out sessions.
  • 100 Seats available.
  • Stipends offered for teachers attending all four days.

Topics Include:
  • Deep understanding of CCSS-M expectations and the Math Practices
  • Working with SFPS Math Curriculum Maps to develop lesson plans
  • Strategies and resources to increase student engagement and mathematical discourse
  • Creativity in mathematics
  • Intervention strategies and resources
  • Classroom procedures and routines
Please bring your own water bottle! There will be a 1-hour break for lunch on your own each day. Light snacks provided during the day.
